Quant Mag-S is water-soluble magnesium sulphate — the workhorse magnesium source for programmes that need volume rather than speed. It delivers magnesium alongside sulphate sulphur, which the plant needs for the amino acids cysteine and methionine and therefore for protein and oil formation. Sulphur deficiency has become common as atmospheric deposition has fallen, and it shows on young leaves, unlike nitrogen deficiency.

Cómo actúa
Magnesium builds chlorophyll; sulphate sulphur is incorporated into cysteine and methionine and from there into protein and oil. Because magnesium is mobile and sulphur is not, deficiency of the first shows on old leaves and of the second on young ones — a single product covers both.
