Thiobria
Broad systemic control across an unusually long crop list.

Thiobria is a systemic benzimidazole fungicide based on thiophanate-methyl. Its crop and disease list is one of the longest in the range — scab, powdery mildew, Monilinia, leaf spot, damping-off and citrus gummosis across pome fruit, stone fruit, cucurbits, sugar beet, vine and citrus. It moves upward in the plant and offers curative as well as protective activity.
Characteristics
- Very broad crop and disease label
- Systemic with curative as well as protective activity
- Covers scab, powdery mildew, Monilinia, leaf spot and damping-off
- Also registered against citrus brown rot and trunk gummosis
- Effective at moderate rates
- FRAC Group 1
How it works
Thiophanate-methyl converts in the plant to carbendazim, which binds beta-tubulin and prevents the fungus from assembling the microtubules it needs to divide. Cell division stops. Single-site, and resistance in Botrytis and several other pathogens is already widespread — never use it alone in consecutive sprays. FRAC Group 1.
