Dodibria
The scab specialist with genuine kick-back after infection has started.

Dodibria is a fungicide based on dodine, a guanidine with a long record against apple and pear scab and against leaf spot diseases in stone fruit. Its distinguishing feature is kick-back: applied after an infection period has already occurred, it can still stop the infection developing. That makes it the product to reach for when rain beat the sprayer and a protectant programme was breached.
Characteristics
- Genuine kick-back — can stop an infection that has already begun
- The specialist choice for apple and pear scab
- Also active on cherry leaf spot and other stone-fruit leaf diseases
- Rescues a programme after a missed protectant spray
- FRAC Group U12 — an unrelated target to the triazoles and strobilurins
- Long-established and well understood by orchard growers
How it works
Dodine is a cationic surfactant-type fungicide that disrupts the fungal cell membrane and interferes with several enzyme systems. It penetrates the leaf surface enough to reach germinating spores that have already begun to establish, which is the basis of its curative reach-back. FRAC Group U12.
