MicroN Zn 15% EDTA
EDTA-chelated zinc for shoot extension, leaf size and fruit bud formation.

MicroN Zn 15% EDTA is a fully soluble, EDTA-chelated zinc corrector. Zinc deficiency is the most common micronutrient disorder on the calcareous, high-pH soils that dominate the region, and its signature is unmistakable: shortened internodes giving a rosette of small, bunched leaves at the shoot tip. It is decisive in maize, grape, apple, citrus, cotton and rice, and the chelated form stays available where zinc sulphate would lock up.
Características
- 15% zinc, fully EDTA-chelated and 100% water soluble
- Stays available on calcareous and high-pH soils
- Corrects little-leaf and rosetting at the shoot tip
- Essential to auxin synthesis, shoot extension and fruit bud formation
- Improves pollination and fruit set in maize, grape and nut crops
- Suitable for both fertigation and foliar application
Cómo actúa
Zinc is required to synthesise tryptophan, the precursor of the growth hormone auxin — which is why deficiency stops internode extension and produces the characteristic rosette. It also stabilises ribosomes and activates several dehydrogenases. Availability collapses above pH 7, making chelation essential on calcareous soils.
