MicroN Fe 6% EDDHA
The iron chelate that survives calcareous soil — where EDTA cannot.

Esta página aún no está disponible en español. Se muestra la versión en inglés.
MicroN Fe 6% EDDHA is an iron corrector built for the one situation EDTA cannot handle: high-pH, calcareous soil. Above about pH 7 the EDTA ring releases its iron and the correction fails. EDDHA holds iron stable up to pH 9, which is why it is the only dependable soil treatment for lime-induced chlorosis in citrus, peach, pear, grape and pomegranate on the calcareous soils that cover much of the country. It costs more per unit of iron, and on those soils it is the only thing that works.
Características
- Stable up to pH 9 — the only reliable iron chelate for calcareous soils
- Corrects lime-induced chlorosis where EDTA and sulphate both fail
- Applied to the root zone; one spring application typically lasts the season
- Essential for citrus, peach, pear, pomegranate and grape on high-pH soils
- Fully water soluble
- The ortho-ortho isomer content determines real-world stability — see notes
Cómo actúa
EDDHA wraps the iron atom in a far more stable cage than EDTA, keeping it soluble and root-available in soil where free iron would immediately precipitate as insoluble hydroxide. It is a soil-applied product: foliar iron cannot redistribute within the plant and only greens the leaves it actually wets.

Doses are indicative. The user is responsible for adjusting the dose to the growth stage of the crop and the conditions of the field. Apply under the guidance of an agricultural technician. Composition, method of application and dose may vary between countries for climatic, technical or legal reasons.
