Quant Cal-N is a 100% water-soluble calcium nitrate for fertigation and foliar feeding. It delivers calcium together with nitrate nitrogen — the two forms the plant absorbs and moves most readily — so cell walls build strong from the first stages of growth. The result is firmer fruit, better post-harvest life and markedly fewer calcium-related disorders such as blossom-end rot, bitter pit and tip-burn. Free of sodium and chlorine, it can be combined with the great majority of fertilisers and agrochemicals.

Cómo actúa
Nitrate nitrogen is taken up rapidly and stimulates the uptake of cations, including calcium itself. Calcium moves with the transpiration stream and fixes into the cell wall as calcium pectate, giving the tissue its mechanical strength. Because calcium is almost immobile once deposited, supply must be continuous through the whole cell-division and fruit-filling period rather than corrective after symptoms appear.

Compatibilidad
Compatible with most fertilisers and agrochemicals. Do NOT mix directly with sulphate- or phosphate-containing concentrates in the same stock tank — precipitation will occur. Use separate stock tanks (A/B system).

Oxidising agent. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks and open flame. No smoking in the storage area. Store separately from combustible materials and chemicals. In case of fire, extinguish with large quantities of water.
