Kresoxim Methybria is a strobilurin fungicide based on kresoxim-methyl, formulated as a water-dispersible granule in a 10 kg pack for larger orchard and vineyard programmes. It gives strong preventive control of scab and powdery mildew, redistributes across the leaf surface in vapour phase to reach tissue the spray missed, and delivers the greening effect characteristic of the class — treated leaves stay photosynthetically active longer.

Cómo actúa
Kresoxim-methyl binds the Qo site of the cytochrome bc1 complex in fungal mitochondria, blocking electron transport and ATP production. Spore germination is halted almost completely, which makes the product strongly preventive. Because it acts at a single site, resistance can develop quickly — always alternate with a multi-site or a different mode of action. FRAC Group 11 (QoI).

Modo de empleo
Apple scab: first application when flower buds swell (3-5 days before bud break); second at pink bud when individual flowers are visible; third at 70-80% petal fall; then every 10-14 days while conditions favour the disease. Grape powdery mildew: first at 25-30 cm shoot length before flowering; second before flowering as flower buds separate; third at petal fall when berries are shot-sized; then further applications up to berry drop depending on persistence. Cucurbit powdery mildew: begin at first symptoms; suspend applications when the daily mean exceeds 27 C and relative humidity is below 50%. Citrus brown spot: begin as shoots reach 5-10 cm and first symptoms appear; stop once shoot growth ceases, rainfall drops, temperatures rise and fruit reach about 4 cm diameter.
Compatibilidad
Can be mixed with other fungicides, insecticides and foliar fertilisers, except those with alkaline properties.
