Thirabria

Multi-site seed protection against the whole damping-off complex.

Thiram 75% WS
Thirabria — WS - Water Dispersible Powder for Seed Slurry — Sembria

Thirabria is a seed treatment based on thiram, a multi-site dithiocarbamate. It protects germinating seed and emerging seedlings against the full damping-off complex — Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Alternaria, Sclerotinia and Phytophthora — in one product. Because it is multi-site there is no resistance risk, which matters particularly in seed treatment where the same product is used season after season.

Characteristics

  • Covers the whole damping-off complex in one treatment
  • Multi-site — no resistance risk even with repeated seasonal use
  • Registered on onion, chickpea, vegetable seedlings, cucurbits and sugar beet
  • Also controls onion smut and cucurbit anthracnose
  • Protects the most vulnerable stage of the crop
  • FRAC Group M3

How it works

Thiram is a dithiocarbamate that reacts with thiol groups and chelates metal ions in fungal enzymes, disabling several enzyme systems at once. It stays on the seed surface and in the soil immediately around it, killing pathogens as they approach the germinating seedling. FRAC Group M3.
