Thiambria
Systemic seed protection against the soil pests you never see coming.

Thiambria is a seed treatment based on thiamethoxam. Wireworms, flea beetles and the rest of the underground complex do their damage before there is any crop to spray, and by the time a thin stand reveals the problem the season is already lost. Treating the seed puts the protection in place before the pest arrives, at a fraction of the active ingredient a broadcast soil treatment would need.
Characteristics
- Protection in place from germination, before the pest arrives
- Controls wireworms, flea beetles, springtails and millipedes
- Also controls Colorado potato beetle in seed potatoes
- A fraction of the active ingredient of a broadcast soil treatment
- Registered on corn, potato, sugar beet, wheat and sunflower
- IRAC Group 4A
How it works
Thiamethoxam is taken up by the emerging seedling and distributed systemically. It binds the insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and holds it open, causing uncontrolled nerve firing and death. IRAC Group 4A.
