Deltabria
The most potent pyrethroid per gram — control at the lowest rates in the class.

Deltabria is a pyrethroid insecticide based on deltamethrin, the most intrinsically active molecule of the class. That potency means control at rates a fraction of other pyrethroids, which reduces the amount of active going into the environment per hectare. It acts by contact and ingestion with rapid knockdown and is widely used in both field crops and stored-product protection.
Characteristics
- The most potent pyrethroid per gram of active
- Control at the lowest rates in the class
- Rapid knockdown by contact and ingestion
- Broad spectrum across field, orchard and stored-product pests
- IRAC Group 3A
- Low environmental loading per treated hectare
How it works
Deltamethrin holds open the voltage-gated sodium channels of the insect nerve axon, causing uncontrolled firing and paralysis. Its exceptional potency comes from its single, most-active stereoisomer — other pyrethroids are mixtures containing less active forms. IRAC Group 3A.
