Triflobria

Two ALS actives, one granule — broader and steadier than either alone.

Triflobria

Triflobria pairs florasulam with tribenuron-methyl in a single water-dispersible granule for broadleaf weed control in wheat and barley. The two actives hit the same enzyme by different routes, which broadens the weed spectrum and evens out the performance gaps each shows on its own — florasulam is notably stronger on cleavers and the bedstraws. The application window runs from the 2-leaf stage right through to the ear stage.

Characteristics

  • Two complementary ALS actives — broader spectrum than either alone
  • Florasulam adds real strength on cleavers and bedstraw
  • Very low rate: 2-2.5 g/da
  • Wide window — 2-leaf stage to ear stage of the cereal
  • Water-dispersible granule: low dust, accurate measuring
  • Full crop safety on wheat and barley at label rates

How it works

Both actives inhibit acetolactate synthase (ALS), the enzyme that builds the branched-chain amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine. Susceptible weeds stop growing within hours and die over one to three weeks; cereals metabolise both molecules rapidly, which gives the selectivity. HRAC Group B / Group 2.

Doses are indicative. The user is responsible for adjusting the dose to the growth stage of the crop and the conditions of the field. Apply under the guidance of an agricultural technician. Composition, method of application and dose may vary between countries for climatic, technical or legal reasons.

Application

How to apply

Safe from the 2-leaf stage to the ear stage of cereals, inclusive. Time to the weeds rather than the crop: best results when weeds have at least two leaves and before they exceed 15 cm or grow through the cereal canopy. Where Centaurea (Gokbas) dominates, apply at the rosette stage at 7-8 leaves and 8-9 cm height. Rotate modes of action between seasons — continuous ALS use selects for resistant populations quickly.

Compatibility

Not recommended for mixing with other plant protection products. Use clean water; avoid zinc or galvanised containers.

Always carry out a compatibility test before preparing a tank mixture.

Safety and handling

May cause an allergic skin reaction; causes serious eye damage. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Toxic to fish and to bees — do not apply during flowering. Do not re-enter the treated area for 1 day.

Read the label before use. Do not use at home. Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Use only as recommended and at the recommended dose.
