Manzebria
The multi-site backbone — broad, cheap and resistance-proof.

Manzebria is a protective fungicide based on mancozeb at 80%, the most widely used multi-site protectant in the world. It covers an exceptionally broad disease range at low cost and, because it attacks many enzyme systems at once, carries effectively no resistance risk. Its real job in a modern programme is to sit alongside the systemic products and protect them from resistance. It also supplies manganese and zinc.
Characteristics
- Multi-site activity — no practical resistance risk
- Very broad disease label across fruit, vegetables and cereals
- Protects the resistance status of partner systemic fungicides
- Supplies manganese and zinc as a nutritional side benefit
- Also registered as a seed treatment for vegetable seedlings
- FRAC Group M3
How it works
Mancozeb is a dithiocarbamate that releases metal ions and reacts with thiol groups in fungal enzymes, disabling several enzyme systems at once. Purely protective — it must be on the leaf before the spore arrives. FRAC M3.
