MicroN Cu 15% EDTA

Chelated copper that feeds the crop and stiffens its natural defences.

Copper (Cu) chelated by EDTA 15% w/w
MicroN Cu 15% EDTA — Water-soluble microgranule — Sembria

MicroN Cu 15% EDTA is a fully soluble, EDTA-chelated copper corrector. Copper does two jobs at once: it runs the enzymes of photosynthetic electron transport, and it drives the lignification that gives stems their strength and makes tissue physically harder for a pathogen to penetrate. Cereals on peaty, sandy or heavily limed soils respond most visibly — deficiency there shows as white, twisted leaf tips and poor grain set.

Characteristics

  • 15% copper, fully EDTA-chelated and 100% water soluble
  • Corrects white tip and poor grain set in cereals
  • Drives lignification — stronger stems, better standing power
  • Strengthens the plant's own physical resistance to disease
  • Nutritional rate, far below a copper fungicide rate — no phytotoxicity risk at label dose
  • Suitable for fertigation and foliar application

How it works

Copper is the metal centre of plastocyanin in photosynthetic electron transport and of the polyphenol oxidases that build lignin. Deficiency is a classic problem of organic, sandy and over-limed soils. Note that this is a nutritional product at a nutritional rate — it is not a substitute for a copper fungicide.

Application

How to apply

Application timing and method are given on the product label. AWAITING LABEL — see the production notes at the bottom of this sheet.

Compatibility

Compatible with other fertilisers. Tank solution pH must be above 4.

Always carry out a compatibility test before preparing a tank mixture.

Safety and handling

Full hazard and precautionary statements are on the product label. AWAITING LABEL. Standard precautions apply: keep away from children, food and animal feed; wear gloves, protective clothing and eye protection; do not contaminate water; do not apply during flowering.

Read the label before use. Do not use at home. Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Use only as recommended and at the recommended dose.
